性状：
B型硅胶为乳白色透明或半透明球状或块状颗粒。B型胶孔结构介于粗孔、细孔硅胶之间，孔容为0.60—0.85ml/g，平均孔径为4.5—7.0nm，比表面为450—650m2/g。
用途：
主要用作液体吸附剂、干燥剂和香料载体，也可用作催化剂载体，硅砂，以及用作层析硅胶等精细化工产品的原料。
